RUHI Browser Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and RUHI Applications ("we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the RUHI Browser software application across Microsoft Windows, Android, and related web services.

By downloading, installing, launching, or using RUHI Browser, you explicitly agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use RUHI Browser.

1. End User License Grant (EULA)

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, RUHI Applications grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to install, execute, and use RUHI Browser on your personal computers (Windows 10/11) and mobile devices (Android) for lawful personal or organizational purposes.

2. Permitted Use & Restrictions

You agree to use RUHI Browser only for purposes permitted by applicable local, national, and international laws. Specifically, you agree NOT to:

• Modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the proprietary source code of RUHI Browser, except to the extent permitted by applicable open-source licenses or mandatory statutory law.
• Use the browser to distribute viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware, or malicious payloads.
• Rent, lease, sub-license, resell, or redistribute binary distributions of RUHI Browser under an unauthorized brand or commercial wrapper without express prior written consent from RUHI Applications.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attack the integrity or performance of RUHI Browser services or third-party web servers.

3. Third-Party Websites & Content Disclaimer

RUHI Browser is a client tool for accessing the World Wide Web.

RUHI Applications has no control over, does not endorse, and assumes no responsibility or liability for any third-party websites, hyperlinks, search results, online content, media streams, privacy policies, or practices that you access or interact with through the browser.

You access third-party websites entirely at your own discretion and risk. We strongly recommend that you review the terms of service and privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.

4. Intellectual Property & Open-Source Attributions

The RUHI Browser application name, branding, logo, visual interface, custom documentation, and proprietary code are the exclusive intellectual property of RUHI Applications (Developed by Saikh Sufian) and are protected by applicable intellectual property and copyright laws.

RUHI Browser utilizes standard open-source core frameworks:

• Chromium / Microsoft WebView2 Runtime: Distributed under BSD and MIT licenses, copyright © The Chromium Authors and Microsoft Corporation.
• Android Platform Components: Distributed under the Apache 2.0 License, copyright © The Android Open Source Project (AOSP).

Nothing in these Terms restricts your rights under applicable open-source software license terms governing those underlying components.

5. Integrated Features & AdBlock Disclaimer

RUHI Browser includes productivity and security tools such as an integrated AdBlocker, PDF viewing/annotation tools, and an AI assistant:

• AdBlock Filter: Ad-blocking is provided as a utility to enhance browsing speed and user privacy. RUHI Applications does not guarantee that 100% of advertisements will be filtered, nor that all external websites will remain functional with ad-blocking enabled. Users may disable the filter for specific domains at their discretion.
• AI Assistant: AI-generated summaries and translations are provided for informational convenience. RUHI Applications makes no representation regarding the absolute accuracy or reliability of AI-generated responses.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

RUHI BROWSER IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, RUHI APPLICATIONS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, BUG-FREE, OR FULLY COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY FUTURE OPERATING SYSTEM UPDATE.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL RUHI APPLICATIONS, ITS DEVELOPER (SAIKH SUFIAN), OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES—INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA LOSS, DEVICE CORRUPTION, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION—ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE RUHI BROWSER.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RUHI Applications and its developers from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and legal expenses arising out of or related to your misuse of the browser or violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

This license remains effective until terminated. Your rights under this license terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use and uninstall all copies of RUHI Browser.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in West Bengal, India.

11. Modifications to Terms

RUHI Applications reserves the right to revise or replace these Terms at any time. Continued use of RUHI Browser following any modifications constitutes your formal acceptance of the updated Terms.
